2023 Royal Court
and Junior Court

The Royal Court is made up of Juniors and Seniors. Those chosen for the royal court are eligible to receive a scholarship towards either college or a trade school.

The members of the court are announced on June 16th at the opening ceremony. Both the Royal Court and Junior Court will appear in the parade Saturday morning, June 17. They will also help out throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday.

Leanna Rios

Leanna is a Junior at Newport High School. She enjoys dance and teaching dancing, arts & Crafts; sewing; photography; painting; up cycling; reading; cooking; baking. Leanna is also involved the National Honor Society, Hoofers Dance Academy, 4H and 4H Leadership, Girl Scouts, and National Leadership Forum.

Eli Spangrud

Eli is a senior at Waldport High School. He enjoys good leadership, strong work ethic, work well with others, forestry competitions, camping, and swimming. Eli is involved in High-school forestry, leadership, and beachcombers committee.

Gabe Catalfamo

Gabe enjoys fishing, hunting, Shooting and is involved in football, forestry, NHS, athletic leadership, boosters, Waldport Junior League, and Beachcomber Days Committee.

Madison Bellmore

Madison is a 9th Grade at Waldport High School. Madison enjoys Animations/Art, writing, crafts, reading, honor role, babysitter and is involved in Library teen volunteer, Drama, SOLVE, OSU clubs, DND club, homecoming princess.

Payton Abele

Payton is a freshman at Waldport High School and is involved iVolleyball,Track and Field, AVID, Forestry

Kiana McNeil

Kiana is a Freshman at Waldport High School. Waldport high schools forestry’s class representative and in the campaign for FNRL state representative as vice president.

Breanna Elgin

Breanna is a 9th Grader at Waldport High School and enjoys Drawing and Gaming and is involved in Girl Scouts

Sophia Elgin

Sophia is in sixth Grade at Crestview Heights Elementary. Sophia is involved in Ocean Beaches 4-H club which includes sewing & art & crafts & cooking & rabbits & guinea pigs & photography & presentation & record book.

Kassidy Huffman

Kassidy is a Freshman at Waldport High School and is in the Junior National Honor Society, WHS Leadership Team, and the TAG program. She is also on the Varisity Cheer Team, Varsity Softball, and Manager of the Varsity Wrestling Team. Kassidy also takes AP Honors classes and holds a 4.0 GPA.

Azura Prince

Azura is in 8th Grade at Waldport Middle School and enjoys Horse training and riding, cooking, volleyball, softball. 4H, WMS Leadership, Our Savior Lutheran Church community outreach

Vera Kyei

Vera is in 7th Grade at Newport Middle School. Vera enjoys creative writing, reading, public speaking, 4H Vice President, Dance, Drawing, Painting, Ceramics, Volleyball, Basketball, Track (Javelin and 100 meter), reading & writing, Cooking, Piano and Choir, animal care, honor student, & TAG and is involved in 4-H, Cooking Outschool, Dance and All That Jazz, Newport Middle School Track, Volleyball Academy, TAG, African American Youth Leadership.

Mildred Ervin

Mildred is a Freshman at Waldport High School. She enjoys volleyball, basketball, forestry, avid, and leadership.

Austin Abele

Austin is in 8th grade at Waldport Middle School. Austin enjoys playing the saxophone and basketball and is involved in Basketball, Track and Field, NJHS Treasurer and Band.

Serena Sides

Serena is in 8th grade at Newport Middle School. She enjoys drawing, digital art, and playing the violin. Serena is involved in Girl Scouts and volleyball.
